At The Children’s Cabinet, our mission is to keep children safe and families together. We provide programs and services at no charge to youth and their families in our community. We support young children to young adults, so that they can thrive within their schools, their families, and their neighborhoods. There is no wrong door, and we will ensure those who need us are provided the proper resources regardless of their circumstances.

Laura is a Subsidy Specialist II at our Carson City Office and recently celebrated her 18th anniversary at The Children’s Cabinet!
“I moved to Carson City from South Dakota in 2006. I had an interview with The Children’s Cabinet for a case manager position. I absolutely had no idea that The Cabinet would become so special in my life. I was hired one month to the day of moving here and have been here ever since. I have seen lots of changes over the years but the one thing that hasn’t changed is my admiration for The Children’s Cabinet Team! I have been working since I was 14 and can honestly say that The Cabinet is the best place I have ever worked!”
Thank you, Laura, for all you do – we appreciate you!
