Child Care Quality Enhancement

The Quality Enhancement service advocates for and supports increased quality child care options for parents. At the heart of this service is professional development of child caregivers, quality training, and an emphasis on the importance of early learning years.

Quality Enhancement staff participates in statewide collaborative efforts to improve the quality of child care within Nevada. Staff also coordinates and disseminates The Training Continuum, which is a comprehensive quarterly list of training for child care providers. In addition to their work with child caregivers, staff informs and educates parents about how to choose a quality child care setting for their children.
