Childcare Subsidy Assistance

The Subsidy Assistance program assists working families or parents in job training to pay for the cost of their child care. Assistance is also available to pay for child care for children at risk of child abuse or neglect.

Parents or other legal guardians (grandparents, foster parents, etc.) are able to qualify for child care subsidies based upon their total monthly gross income, household size, and other funding requirements.

Funding for the subsidy program comes from a variety of grants, so eligibility may occur under a range of conditions. Anyone interested in being considered for a child care subsidy should contact the Program Assistant in the Child Care Resource & Referral Department for more information. Applications can be completed in person, Monday through Thursday from 8:00a.m. to 6:00p.m and Fridays from 8:00a.m. to 5:00p.m.
