Job Opportunities in Reno

The Children’s Cabinet is seeking a Programs Support person for the Supporting Early Education and Care (SEED) department. This position is located in the Reno, Rock office location. This position has frequent public contact and need for excellent customer service skills. The program support staff will be responsible for fielding phone calls, record maintenance, accepting class registration, assisting with community outreach events, provider registrations, and general clerical duties such as data entry and supply ordering. This position will be housed at a main office or an out-posted office as needed. Please read the job description for more information. A person who is bi-lingual in Spanish is preferred. The Children’s Cabinet is seeking Subsidy Reimbursement Support PersonThis position is located in the Reno, Rock office location.  This position is responsible for processing childcare provider timesheets per accounting procedures in the Supporting Early Education and Development (SEED) Department.  Subsidy reimbursement support screens incoming timesheets for accuracy and processes reimbursement payments to childcare providers in a timely manner.  This position will also assist in the maintenance of provider files as well as providing clerical support.  This is a full-time position accountable to the Subsidy Reimbursement Coordinator.  Please read the job description for more information.  A person who is bi-lingual in Spanish is preferred.  Interested parties need to send their resumes to HR@childrenscabinet.org by Wednesday July 17, 2019 to be considered.

QRIS Coach – full-time position. The QRIS Coach will provide onsite Quality Rating and Improvement System (QRIS) coaching and training to programs operating in school districts and/or licensed childcare locations in an effort to build capacity to provide quality early learning programs.  In order to be considered you must have a rating of 4 or more on the Nevada Registry Career Ladder. Early Childhood Support Teachers (ECSN) Early Childhood Support Teachers provide temporary care in child care centers and licensed family child care homes.  This is a full time position that may include a variable schedule, accountable to the quality program coordinator.  Specific training will be provided to meet basic criteria for providing quality child care.  There are special requirements listed for this position due to child care regulations.  Send resumes to HR@childrenscabinet.org.  Resumes will be accepted until the position is filled.

Jobs Opportunities in Las Vegas 

The Children’s Cabinet is seeking a Quality Specialist for the Supporting Early Education and Care (SEED) department. This position is located in Las Vegas. The Supporting Early Education and Development (SEED) Quality Specialist will provide early childhood and out-of-school time provider professional development through trainings, onsite assistance and written materials. Specialist will also provide community and parent engagement activities in their assigned region. This position requires an understanding of early childhood education and indicators of quality care, licensing regulations, and work/life issues. A person who is bi-lingual in Spanish is preferred. Job Opportunities in Elko

The Children’s Cabinet is seeking a Program Coordinator for Quality programming in Elko.  This position coordinates and performs the day-to-day operations of provider training and specialized assistance services to increase the quality of care and the skill level of the early childhood workforce in Elko and the surrounding counties. This position also coordinates the Home Instruction for Parents of Preschool Youngsters (HIPPY) program in Elko County.   This is a full-time position and is eligible for benefits.  Minimum qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in Early childhood (or related field) and having a Nevada Registry rating of  ECE 4 Trainer.  Interested candidates must send a resume and cover letter to HR@childrenscabinet.org by Friday, June 14, 2019 in order to be considered.
