RENO JOB ANNOUNCEMENTS:

Receptionist -The Children’s Cabinet has an opening for a receptionist at our Sinclair office location.  A person that is bi-lingual in English and Spanish is preferred.  This is an entry level, full-time position.

The Receptionist is responsible for first contact with the public and may encounter challenging or confrontational clients.  They will also direct clients to the appropriate personnel; provide resource and referral information; perform clerical work and special projects as directed.  The full job description is provided.

Youth Advisor PT Graveyard and On-Call – The Children’s Cabinet has an opening for a Part-time person for the graveyard shift in our Center for Aspiring Youth (CAY – transitional living center).  We are also seeking applicants to fill On-Call positions in the CAY.

Youth Advisor’s primary role is to maintain a safe, healthy, and appropriate environment for service delivery to homeless and/or marginally housed transitional aged youth at the transitional living center – The Center for Aspiring Youth (CAY).  Youth Advisors are responsible for the direct observation, supervision, guidance, maintaining facility control through shift coverage, providing information about availability and types of services to clients, providing certain services to clients, and documenting efforts.
