The following services provided by the Children’s Cabinet include Family and Youth Services as well as Supporting Early Education and Development.
 

Supporting Early Education and Development (SEED)

Parents can find information about paying for child care, finding quality child care and why it is important, finding licensed providers, and additional resources about child care.

Providers can find information about current licensing requirements, Nevada Child Care Resource and Referral registration, early childhood training opportunities, scholarships and grants, and additional resources.

Community can find out more about getting involved in child care policy and legislations as well as additional child care resources.

 

Family and Youth Interventions

Youth Education & Training includes information about the Nell J. Redfield School of Life and tutoring, volunteer programs and job training, community education, and re-engagement center.

Youth Programs includes information about programs for runaway and homeless youth, foster care youth, gang intervention and prevention programming, drug and alcohol intervention and prevention programming, and more.

Family Programs includes information about case management, family counseling, food pantries, and additional resources.
