The Children’s Cabinet, Inc. has received a grant for foster youth support to help youth ages 15 to 21 that is aging out or has aged out of foster care.
This is an innovative program that provides case management services to youth in order to help them become self-sufficient. We have developed numerous community collaborations to provide goods and services to young adults in need of help.
We help with developing and implementing a plan for a successful transition into adulthood. We provide support and encouragement to ensure success in adulthood.
We are able to provide limited financial assistance, please contact us if any questions.
The Independent Living Program (ILP): ILP provides case management services to teenage foster care youth, 15 to 18 years old, and former foster youth, 18 to 21 years old, to help them transition smoothly out of the foster care system. Services available include case management, financial planning and budgeting, job search assistance, and help meeting basic needs. The goal of this program is to help youth live independently as productive, contributing members of the community.
Educational Training Vouchers (ETV): The ETV Program is a national program for youth who qualify and have aged out of the foster care system. ETV offers financial assistance to eligible current and former foster youth to attend an accredited college, university, vocational or technical college. The ETV program helps students in their own efforts to secure financial aid to enroll in college.
