CARES Act Grants for Licensed and Emergency Child Care Providers

Nevada has received CARES Act funding and an application has been developed so that licensed and emergency child care providers may apply for these funds. Click on the Notice of Funding Opportunity and Offline Prep Application for more information. Please read the entire notice prior to submitting your application and please remember that offline submissions will not be accepted.

In order to support child care through the COVID-19 pandemic, the Nevada Department of Education, the Division of Welfare and Supportive Services, The Children’s Cabinet, and the Las Vegas Urban League, have established procedures to issue emergency stipends. Licensed Provider Start-up Grants

Have you started the process of becoming a licensed child care provider? The Children’s Cabinet has start-up grants that can help family child care homes, group family child care homes and centers with the cost of fees and some classroom materials and furnishings. T.E.A.C.H. Early Childhood ® Nevada

T.E.A.C.H. Early Childhood ® Nevada provides college scholarships for Home Care Providers, Center Teachers and Aides, Center Directors, and Early Childhood Facility Owners working in a licensed facility at least 30* hours a week. For more information, visit the T.E.A.C.H. website.
