DESCRIPTION:This course focuses on helping educators understand and support cognitive development.\n\n\nNevada Registry Approved –12 hours \nCKA:  Human Growth and Development \nInstructor:  Brianna Cambra \nDescription: This course focuses on helping educators understand and support cognitive development and learning through four areas: facilitating exploration and concept development\, building meaningful curriculum\, promoting imitation\, symbolic representation and play\, and supporting reasoning and problem solving skills. \n   \n**This course is designed for learners who have experience teaching in the infant/toddler classroom. Participants MUST ATTEND ALL FOUR SESSIONS in order to receive certificate.  The dates for the training are: 9/9; 9/16; 9/23; 9/30. \n**This training can be taken to meet the Child Development/Guidance & Discipline training requirement.
