We will look at different types of assessment and use them as well as observation as tools\, to understand how they assist in determining child learning outcomes. \nTraining Objectives: \n1 . Gain an understanding of what makes observation an important tool \n2 . Learn how to do simple assessments on a daily basis \n3 . Gain an understanding of why observation and assessment are important in early care and education \nEach professional development session offered by The Children’s Cabinet utilizes a knowledge check to ensure that our participants understand our training objectives and our instructors are providing a comprehensive learning experience.
