We will consider ways to support young children in promoting a healthy brain and explore what can inhibit healthy growth and development. \nTraining Objectives: \n1 . By the end of this session\, learners will describe how the brain develops focusing on cognitive and executive function development. \n2 . By the end of this session\, learners will identify ways to support these early years of cognitive and executive functions development. \n3 . To understand principles of learning including attention to prior knowledge and foundation of factual knowledge. \n2 . To understand principles of learning including attention to understanding and learner self-regulation. \n3 .
