At this session\, we will discuss strategies for increasing family involvement and engagement. Additionally\, participants will also learn how to evaluate program effectiveness by using Nevada’s out-of-school time program quality standards. \n \nLearning Outcomes: \n\nParticipants will outline the importance of family engagement in the afterschool setting.\nParticipants will describe ways in which a family can be engaged in the afterschool programs .\nParticipants will apply their understanding based on the NV out-of-school time quality standards.\n\n \nEach professional development session offered by The Children’s Cabinet utilizes a knowledge check to ensure that our participants understand our training objectives and our instructors are providing a comprehensive learning experience.
