The first of 7 Essential Life Skills from Mind in the Making\, this module includes insightful exercises and research. \nTraining Objectives: \n1 . By the end of this session\, learners will Describe how the Life Skill of Focus & Self Control call upon Executive Function. \n2 . By the end of this session\, learners will Identify that this skill develops in infancy and develops through active learning. \n3 . By the end of this session\, learners will Select techniques and games that can be used to promote Focus & Self Control. \nEach professional development session offered by The Children’s Cabinet utilizes a knowledge check to ensure that our participants understand our training objectives and our instructors are providing a comprehensive learning experience.
