Participants will also develop a deeper understanding of how brain building strategies are easily embedded into Child Care Resources and Referral (CCR&R) outreach and services. \n \nLearning Outcomes: \n1 . Learners will identify new ideas gained for sharing with families. \n2 . Learners will name one of Vroom’s three scientific principles and describe it. \n3 . Learners will name one executive function skill and explain how it helps young children. \n \nEach professional development session offered by The Children’s Cabinet utilizes a knowledge check to ensure that our participants understand our training objectives and our instructors are providing a comprehensive learning experience. They build around their understanding to nurture healthy eaters among the children; and demonstrate healthy physical habits as incorporated into the children’s routines. \n \nLearning Outcomes: \n1 . Learners will outline current and evidence-based information about physical activity\,            nutrition\, and obesity prevention as it pertains to children 1-5 years old. \n2 . Learners will describe structured/unstructured activities; reading properly nutrition labels; and obesity prevention and its connection to healthy eating habits and lifestyle.   \n3 .
