DESCRIPTION:This is a Basic level Wellness training\, and fully satisfies the annual Lifelong Wellness training requirement of Child Care Licensing.\n\n\nNevada Registry Approved: 2.0 hours \nCKA: Health\, Nutrition & Safety \nInstructor: Constance Tomaneng \n \nLearning Summary: This learning event meets the NV Registry criteria for basic level wellness training. Participants are introduced to current and evidence-based wellness information applicable to children ages 1-5. They build around their understanding to nurture healthy eaters among the children; and demonstrate healthy physical habits as incorporated into the children’s routines. \n \nLearning Outcomes: \n1 . Learners will outline current and evidence-based information about physical activity\,            nutrition\, and obesity prevention as it pertains to children 1-5 years old. \n2 . Learners will describe structured/unstructured activities; reading properly nutrition labels; and obesity prevention and its connection to healthy eating habits and lifestyle.   \n3 .
