Participants will be able to define abuse/neglect/maltreatment and give examples of each. \n2 . Participants will recognize and name signs and symptoms of abuse/neglect/maltreatment. \n3 . Participants will know the do’s and don’ts of how to respond to a child who is disclosing potential abuse/neglect/maltreatment. \nEach professional development session offered by The Children’s Cabinet utilizes a knowledge check to ensure that our participants understand our training objectives and our instructors are providing a comprehensive learning experience.
