Content includes description of the subsidy program\, accurate completion and submission of timesheets\, training requirements\, and relationships with families. The learning event will use questions and answers\, as well as knowledge checks\, to support learners. \nLearning Outcomes: \n•Learners will describe requirements for compliance within the subsidy program. \n•Learners wil identify steps to accurately complete and submit documentation (i.e timesheets) \n•Learners will explain the importance of communication and relationship with families in their care. \n  \n  \nEach professional development session offered by The Children’s Cabinet utilizes a knowledge check to ensure that our participants understand our training objectives and our instructors are providing a comprehensive learning experience. You can expect to receive a three question quiz or test at the end of each training. A child who learns to work cooperatively with others has a far greater chance of success than a child who stands alone. This class will help you develop the skills for teaching cooperation and good communication to your child. We will discuss how to help our kids recognize and solve common problems using sound communication skills (e.g.\, Active Listening\, responding to feelings\, looking for alternatives\, offering encouragement\, and follow-up).
