Teachers will learn different strategies for teaching about emotions in their classrooms and how important it is to teach children about their emotions. \nTraining Objectives: \n1 . Participants will understand the importance of teaching emotional literacy. \n2 . Participants will reflect on their practices in the classroom around teaching emotional literacy. \n3 . Participants will implement strategies and practices to promote identifying emotions in the classroom. \nEach professional development session offered by The Children’s Cabinet utilizes a knowledge check to ensure that our participants understand our training objectives and our instructors are providing a comprehensive learning experience. You can expect to receive a three question quiz or test at the end of each training.
