Participants will be able to identify safe sleep measures.by the end of class. \n2﻿. Participants will identify at least 5 ways to lower the risk of SIDS by the end of class. \n3﻿.Participants will know procedures in the event of an infant death while in their care by the end of class.

Participants will be able to define abuse/neglect/maltreatment and give examples of each. \n2﻿. Participants will recognize and name signs and symptoms of abuse/neglect/maltreatment. \n3﻿. Participants will know the do’s and don’ts of how to respond to a child who is disclosing potential abuse/neglect/maltreatment. \nEach professional development session offered by The Children’s Cabinet utilizes a knowledge check to ensure that our participants understand our training objectives and our instructors are providing a comprehensive learning experience.
