DESCRIPTION:Youth Mental Health First Aid presented by the Children’s Cabinet\n\n\n\nThis is an 8-hour training with blended instruction. Participants first must complete an approximately two hour self-paced module prior to attending the six hour Instructor Led Session (ILS). Successful completion of both parts of the blended training are required in order to complete this training. \n\n  \n\nAfter registration\, further information on how to complete the self-paced portion of the training will be sent. If you are within 3-4 weeks of the training date\, it should arrive via email generally within 72 hours of registration. If the training date is further out\, you will be contacted when we get closer to the date. \n\n \n\nPlease be aware the YMHFA training will cover various topics of a sensitive nature\, including depression/anxiety\, substance use\, psychosis\, suicide prevention\, or other topics that may potentially be distressing for some.
