DESCRIPTION:These classes are designed to teach caring adults how to help adolescents who are experiencing mental health\, addiction\, or are in crisis.\n\n\nThese classes are designed to teach parents\, mentors\, teachers\, coaches\, health and human services workers\, and other caring citizens how to help adolescents (age 12-18) who are experiencing mental health\, addiction\, or are in crisis. Anyone interested can sign up for a one-day training session. \nThe course introduces common mental health challenges for youth\, reviews typical adolescent development\, and teaches a 5-step action plan to help young people in both crisis and non-crisis situations.
