SUMMARY:Pyramid Model: Form and Function of Behavior
DESCRIPTION:**REMINDER PLEASE CHECK YOUR CONFIRMATION EMAIL FOR ZOOM LINK **\n\n\nInstructor: Amber Duncan \nNevada Registry Approved: 2.0 Hours \nCKA: Positive Interactions & Guidance \nThe behavior of a child can impact the day in any classroom. As early educators we must determine what these unwanted behaviors mean. Based on Pyramid Model principles\, this training focuses on understanding the communicative message behind behaviors and how to implement a plan for support. \nTraining Objectives: \n1 . Learners will define the form and function of children’s behavior in order to understand the meaning behind the behavior. \n2 . Learners will evaluate a child’s behavior to determine if it is beyond developmentally appropriate behaviors that simply require some skill building. \n3 . Learners will use sample tools to implement the intensive intervention process. \nEach professional development session offered by The Children’s Cabinet utilizes a knowledge check to ensure that our participants understand our training objectives and our instructors are providing a comprehensive learning experience. You can expect to receive a three question quiz or test at the end of each training. If you have questions or concerns\, or need additional information about this process\, feel free to contact the Professional Development Training Coordinator at 775-856-6200. \n \nFor a copy of your records or personal identifiable information\, please direct requests to: \nProfessional Development Team\, Attn: Program Assistantcabtraining2@childrenscabinet.org \nFor more information on your security and privacy\, please visit our full policy by scanning the QR in the participant policy notice below.
