DESCRIPTION:Clases para adultos que quieren ayudar a adolescentes con problemas de salud mental\, adicción o en crisis.\n\n\nEste es un evento de dos días que se llevará a cabo de 5:00 p.m. a 8:00 p.m. el 28 y 29 de agosto. Debe asistir ambos días para recibir la certificación. \nEstas clases están diseñadas para enseñar a padres\, mentores\, maestros\, entrenadores\, trabajadores de salud y de servicios humanos y otros ciudadanos solidarios a cómo ayudar a los adolescentes (de 12 a 18 años) que experimentan problemas de salud mental\, adicción o están en crisis. Cualquier persona interesada puede inscribirse en una sesión de capacitación de 6.5 horas repartida entre dos días. \nEl curso presenta desafíos comunes de salud mental para los jóvenes\, revisa el desarrollo típico de los adolescentes y enseña un plan de acción de 5 pasos para ayudar a los jóvenes en situaciones de crisis y no crisis. Los temas cubiertos incluyen ansiedad\, depresión\, uso de sustancias\, trastornos en los que puede ocurrir psicosis\, trastornos de conducta disruptiva (incluido el TDA/H) y trastornos alimentarios.
