We will explore the five senses\, sensory avoidance and sensory seeking behaviors while relating the information to how we plan learning centers. \nTraining Objectives: \n1 . By the end of this session\, the learner will understand how children learn and why sensory activities are critical to development. \n2 . By the end of this session\, the learner will Identify the 5 Senses and how to incorporate them into learning centers. \n3 . By the end of this session\, the learner will Understand the basics of Sensory Processing Disorder. \nEach professional development session offered by The Children’s Cabinet utilizes a knowledge check to ensure that our participants understand our training objectives and our instructors are providing a comprehensive learning experience.
