The QRIS Coach will provide onsite Quality Rating and Improvement System (QRIS) coaching and training to programs operating in school districts and/or licensed child care locations in an effort to build capacity to provide quality early learning programs.
The Children’s Cabinet is seeking qualified Therapists: Marriage and Family Therapist (MFT); Clinical Professional Therapist (CPC) ; Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) for work in the Reno area.
This position provides direct services to youth and families referred to the Family Counseling Program for family therapy. The Therapist may also facilitate therapeutic groups as determined by The Children’s Cabinet.
Under general supervision, visits individuals and families in early childhood settings to provide basic community outreach services and to assist with programmatic interventions necessary in an effort to increase access to health and community services for families with young children as well as the early childhood workforce.
ECSN teachers provide temporary care in child care centers and licensed family child care homes. This is a full time position that may include a variable schedule, accountable to the quality program coordinator. Specific training will be provided to meet basic criteria for providing quality child care. There are special requirements listed for this position due to child care regulations.
The Donor Relations and Volunteer Specialist will be responsible for providing the highest level of customer service, stewardship, and support to community donors and volunteers. The ideal Donor Relations and Volunteer Specialist will have excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and thrive in a fast-paced environment. The position reports directly to the Donor Relations Director and works with staff at all levels of the organization as well as with board trustees, donors, the business community, and volunteers. This is a full-time position Monday through Friday, eligible for benefits, with the possibility of nights and weekends.
Definition Case Manager will assist families with subsidy application, establish initial eligibility for programs, will enroll families onto the program, assist in the selection of child care and provide on-going case management.
The Accounting Coordinator is responsible for processing payroll, accounts payable payments, accounts receivable, and cash receipt deposits; creating monthly accounts receivable invoices; and creating monthly grant billings to various grantors as assigned; and responding to vendor and staff inquiries as needed. The Accounting Coordinator provides backup to the Controller as needed.
The Program Support will provide support services for the child care subsidy and resource and referral programs. The position will be responsible for fielding phone calls, record maintenance, accepting subsidy applications, subsidy prescreening, filing, and clerical duties. This position is located at the Carson office.
Case Management services are offered to every child and family that gets assistance from The Children’s
Cabinet. Our Case Management focus is on strengths, community support, and long-term solutions built
through a team-based decision-making process. These services include but are not limited to child and
family advocacy, crisis intervention, basic needs security, general support, and facilitating access to
resources and referrals. The Case Manager frequently engages and works with local public service
agencies and other non-profit organizations to ensure all of the family’s needs are met. The Case
Manager provides wrap-around case management, which focuses on four key elements 1): Determined
by families, 2): Driven by underlying needs 3): Grounded in a strength’s perspective 4): Supported by
an effective team process. This position will report to the FYI Program Coordinator/Manager
