The Early Childhood Support Network (ECSN) offers substitute teachers for licensed center and home childcares in southern and northern Nevada.
The Children’s Cabinet employs a qualified team of early childhood educators who are trained and certified in all required initial trainings and ongoing continuing education. Our staff are fingerprinted and carefully screened. Teachers provide quality care based on current child care research, including the Environmental Rating Scales (ERS), best practices, and licensing and safety regulations. Teachers often role model and collaborate with providers to reach a common goal of quality child care. Our staff are able to perform day-to-day tasks that are required in child care settings.

How it Works
Requesting Future Substitute Services (10+ days in advance)
For services that are 10 calendar days in advance or more, customers are encouraged to utilize the free 24/7 online booking system. Providers can reserve up to 5 days a month using the booking system. For additional dates, please contact your regional ECSN program coordinator.
Customers may also manage their future requests directly from their email confirmation and request a reschedule, or cancel the service. All reschedules and cancellations require a 24 hour notice.
Requesting Immediate Substitute Services (Within 10 calendar days of current date)
For substitute requests that are taking place within the next 10 calendar days, customers must contact a regional coordinator to discuss scheduling availability. You can request services by phone or email.
