Join The Children’s Cabinet for our annual Art of Childhood at the gorgeous Rancharrah in Reno. Enjoy an evening of memories and meaning under the stars, with a gourmet dinner provided by Roundabout Catering as well as our first-class live and silent auctions.
This year we will present the Dixie May Philanthropy Award to Stephanie Kruse. We will also spotlight The Children’s Cabinet free Family Counseling Program which helps local families improve communication and cope with challenges.
What is the theme?
In the spirit of the beautiful venue and our fun theme, Bow Ties and Boots, the attire is cowboy chic. Pull out your cowboy boots and dress it up! This event is held outside so we highly recommend wearing comfortable shoes for walking on the grass and bring a sweater in case the night cools down.
What is Art of Childhood?
Art of Childhood is The Children’s Cabinet’s annual fundraising gala. The funds raised support our mission to keep children safe and families together with each year’s Fund-A-Need directly supporting a Cabinet program. Art of Childhood traditionally includes a raffle as well as a silent and live auction. We also share our clients’ stories and successes with you. These stories are the reason The Children’s Cabinet continues to be dedicated to providing care, education, and counseling services for more than 11,000 local families.
