We support young children to young adults, so that they can thrive within their schools, their families, and their neighborhoods. There is no wrong door, and we will ensure those who need us are provided the proper resources regardless of their circumstances.

We are excited to announce that Shannon Bilbray-Axelrod has joined The Children’s Cabinet as Policy and External Relations Director, strengthening our leadership team as we advance policy solutions and partnerships that support children and families across Nevada.
In her role, Bilbray-Axelrod will lead policy strategy and external engagement efforts, working closely with policymakers, community organizations, and cross-sector partners to advance evidence-based solutions that improve outcomes for children and families.

Bilbray‑Axelrod brings extensive experience in public service, policy, government relations, and community engagement, with a proven record of building strategic partnerships and translating community needs into actionable policy, drawing on her service in the Nevada State Assembly, where she served four terms and chaired the Education Committee.
