Thanks to the Wavedance Fund, every gift will be matched dollar-for-dollar up to $100,000.

Donations collected on GivingTuesday will benefit The Children’s Cabinet’s Youth Outreach Program. Youth Outreach once relied on federal funding. That funding has been eliminated. Today, this critical program depends entirely on private gifts to remain accessible for youth in crisis.

Your Impact
Joseph, age 17, called our 24/7 Safe Place hotline around midnight after being kicked out of his home.
He was planning to sleep in a parking lot.
Our outreach team arranged safe shelter that night, mediated with his mother, and connected them both to ongoing case management at The Children’s Cabinet to strengthen their family unit.
Today, they are grateful for The Children’s Cabinet’s intervention and working toward stability together.

Alex, age 15, called Safe Place from Wild Island Coconut Bowl after a fight with his stepdad.
He was considering running away.
Our Safe Place team deescalated the situation, created a safety plan, and connected the family to counseling and parenting classes. Within months, communication improved, and Alex even volunteered to become a Youth Ambassador to help more teens like him.

Celia, age 15, felt unsafe going home from school due to escalating conflict with her mother.
Safe Place staff facilitated an emotional conversation where both opened up about their struggles. With counseling and case management at The Children’s Cabinet, their relationship has grown stronger.
Today, Celia is back in school, sharing updates with staff about grades and milestones, while her mother has secured stable housing and transportation.
