GivingTuesday is a global movement that inspires hundreds of millions of people to give, collaborate, and celebrate generosity.
What does GivingTuesday mean to The Children’s Cabinet?
This year, donations collected on GivingTuesday will benefit The Children’s Cabinet’s Client Emergency Needs Fund. This fund helps families in dire situations and assists them with necessities such as rent, utilities, gas, and unforeseen bills that can push a family to their limit. This means we are able to keep families in their homes where they are safe and together.

Meet Alysha.
One day, Alysha came home to a notice that her family had 30 days to leave the home they had been renting for the last 5 years. She was able to use her savings and some credit card funds to move into a new home, but wasn’t able to keep up on her utility bill. We were able to help Alysha catch up and create a new monthly budget to help her succeed.
