Family counseling is an important service for families struggling with a variety of fears and concerns. Therapists can help parents have more meaningful relationships with their child, address concerning behavior, and teach families to have better communication and solve problems together.

Our no-cost services are based on a short-term strength-based model and allow families to get the help and support they need, even if they can’t afford it.  Families with children birth to 17 years old are able to get counseling support. Young adults 18-24 years old are also able to get counseling support. Families meet with their therapist to develop a treatment plan to address concerns and improve family functioning.

Children’s Cabinet therapists hold a variety of mental health licenses and internship licenses including Marriage and Family Therapy, Clinical Professional Counselors, and Licensed Clinical Social Workers. We also provide training opportunities for clinical students.
