For well over a decade, Scheels has stood alongside The Children’s Cabinet in supporting children, youth, and families across our community. Their generosity has helped us deliver essential programs and resources—making a lasting difference in the lives of those we serve.
Over recent years, Scheels has sponsored our Art of Childhood Choose Your Own Adventure Raffle and donated incredible packages to our Silent Auction. They’ve adopted families through our Adopt-a-Family holiday program and provided backpacks and school supplies so youth can start the school year prepared and confident.
In 2023, Scheels helped revamp the Rec Room at our Wilbur D. May Youth Center with new TVs, a 4-in-1 game table, foosball, basketball, and more—creating a vibrant space for high school students, after-school programs, and workforce development support.
In 2024, the community chose The Children’s Cabinet as the recipient of a Giving Tuesday gift through a public vote, and Scheels was part of making that generous surprise happen. They have also made countless other donations throughout the year—always finding meaningful ways to lift up our mission.
Because of Scheels, we’re able to provide critical resources and programs all year long, supporting children, youth, and families when they need it most.
