Participants will learn about the definition of stereotypes, diversity and race. Participants will learn on how to incorporate the different cultures in their classroom. Participants will learn how to engage their families and communities in their classroom.
Training Objectives:
1 . By the end of the session, participants will identify stereotypes and facts about diversity and races.
2 . By the end of the session, participants will determine how to be inclusive within their own classrooms.
3 . By the end of the session, participants will determine opportunities for diversity within the broader school environment.
Each professional development session offered by The Children’s Cabinet utilizes a knowledge check to ensure that our participants understand our training objectives and our instructors are providing a comprehensive learning experience. You can expect to receive a three question quiz or test at the end of each training.
