Gross Motor and Supervision Outdoors

CKA: Human Growth and Development

This training will include appropriate gross motor materials for a preschool settings. We will be discussing how to implement age appropriate activities and adequate supervision. We will be learning about new gross motor activities and the benefits of gross motor play.

Training Objectives:

1 . Participants will gain knowledge of gross motor skills with appropriate materials.

2 . Participants will recognize activities age-appropriate for outdoor play.

3 . Participants will gain skills in quality and safety interactions while doing gross motor skills outdoors.

Each professional development session offered by The Children’s Cabinet utilizes a knowledge check to ensure that our participants understand our training objectives and our instructors are providing a comprehensive learning experience. You can expect to receive a three question quiz or test at the end of each training.
