The Growing Brain Module 3: Communication and Language Development

CKA: Human Growth & Development

Participants will understand how communication and language skills develop in the first 5 years of life, the brain’s role in the development of these skills and how to support them.

Training Objectives:

1 . By the end of the session, participants will recall communication milestones for birth to 5 years old.

2 . By the end of the session, participants will identify strategies for supporting early communication skills.

3 . By the end of the session, participants will recognize aspects of multi-language learning.

Each professional development session offered by The Children’s Cabinet utilizes a knowledge check to ensure that our participants understand our training objectives and our instructors are providing a comprehensive learning experience. You can expect to receive a three question quiz or test at the end of each training.
