The negative behaviors of children at home and in daycare can be frustrating, distracting and even dangerous. While rewards and consequences can be effective, they often don’t go to the root of the challenge, which is to increase the child’s ability and desire to behave in a positive manner.
Training Objectives:
1. Discuss the how the negative behaviors of children at home and in daycare can be frustrating, distracting and even dangerous.
2. Discuss how rewards and consequences can be effective an yet they often don’t go to the root of the challenge .
3. Learn which ways you can to increase the child’s ability and desire to behave in a positive manner.
