This class will explore the scientific method and how that correlates with the Nevada PreK Standards. Participants will gain the hands on experience of creating experiments in small groups to incorporate into their own classrooms.
Training Objectives:
1 . By the end of the session, participants will learn the scientific method of inquiry for children.
2 . By the end of the session, participants will recognize and link the Nevada PreK Standards that best correlate with science experimentation.
3 . By the end of the session, participants will demonstrate experimenting, measuring and reacting during science experiments.
Each professional development session offered by The Children’s Cabinet utilizes a knowledge check to ensure that our participants understand our training objectives and our instructors are providing a comprehensive learning experience. You can expect to receive a three question quiz or test at the end of each training.
