Learning Summary: Children need the Life Skill of Focus and Self Control in order to achieve their goals, especially in a world that is filled with distractions and information overload. This session includes insightful exercises and research to help us see ways to build the skill of Focus and Self Control.

Learning Outcomes:

1 . Learners will outline how the Life Skill of Focus & Self Control calls on Executive Functions.

2 . Learners will explain how Focus and Self Control enable children to pay attention.

3 . Learners will model ways of how children learn the Life Skill of Focus and Control.

Each professional development session offered by The Children’s Cabinet utilizes a knowledge check to ensure that our participants understand our training objectives and our instructors are providing a comprehensive learning experience. You can expect to receive a three-question quiz or test at the end of each training.
