Reducing the Risk of Sudden Infant Death Syndrome

Importance of back to sleep for infants, understanding SIDS, learning about safe sleep environments, and reviewing myths and truths about SIDS.

Training Objectives:

1 . Participants will be able to identify safe sleep measures by the end of class.

2 . Participants will identify at least 5 ways to lower the risk of SIDS by the end of class.

3 .Participants will know procedures in the event of an infant death while in their care by the end of class.

Each professional development session offered by The Children’s Cabinet utilizes a knowledge check to ensure that our participants understand our training objectives and our instructors are providing a comprehensive learning experience. You can expect to receive a three question quiz or test at the end of each training.
