CKA: Environment & Curriculum

Day in and day out, children are interacting with science and engineering content and processes. Their natural curiosity is fired up. This session approaches STEM from the viewpoint of an interested and involved learner. Connections are made to understand the importance of STEM within and outside of the classroom.

Training Objectives:

  1. Describe components of a STEM-rich after school environment.
  2. Summarize the benefits of utilizing STEM withn and outside of the classrooms.
  3. Demonstrate how STEM learning opportunities can be engaging.

Each professional development session offered by The Children’s Cabinet utilizes a knowledge check to ensure that our participants understand our training objectives and our instructors are providing a comprehensive learning experience. You can expect to receive a three question quiz or test at the end of each training.
