Assessment Prep with QRIS-ECERS

Learners will recall the best practice approaches for QRIS assessments per the ECERS scale. Learners will review and discuss the key components observed in the ECERS scale. Learners will examine the materials checklist with supporting resources for assessment preparation. Learners will participate in group discussions and activities to check understanding.
Training Objectives:
1 . By the end of this session, learners will recognize the defined and various interest centers required in the ECERS scale.
2 . By the end of this session, learners will determine the appropriate type and quantity of play materials required for each interest center in relation to the ECERS scale.
3 . By the end of this session, learners will analyze the ECERS tool with supporting resources for implementation in classrooms in preparation for QRIS assessment.
Each professional development session offered by The Children’s Cabinet utilizes a knowledge check to ensure that our participants understand our training objectives and our instructors are providing a comprehensive learning experience.
