This training helps early childhood professionals use the Pyramid Model framework to create clear classroom rules, teach expectations, and give positive directions that support social-emotional development, prevent challenging behavior, and promote engaging, supportive learning environments for young children.
Training Objectives:
•By the end of this session, learners will be able to explain the difference between an expectation and a rule.
•By the end of this session, have to ability to rephrase directions in a clear, positive, supportive manner.
•By the end of this session, gain understanding of new strategies to reduce challenging behavior in their setting.
Each professional development session offered by The Children’s Cabinet utilizes a knowledge check to ensure that our participants understand our training objectives and our instructors are providing a comprehensive learning experience.
