During this event learners will define transitions, explore prevention strategies, and be introduced to new songs and activites to use during transitions. Learners will participate in interactive activities to apply thei knowledge such as a talent show. Additionally, learners will engage in small and large group discussion.

Learning Objectives

• Learners will be able to identify three transitions in their early childhood setting.

• Learners will be able to describe three different prevention strategies to implement for smoother transitions.

• Learners will demonstrate how to intentionally prepare activities to implement during transitions.

Each professional development session offered by The Children’s Cabinet utilizes a knowledge check to ensure that our participants understand our training objectives and our instructors are providing a comprehensive learning experience. You can expect to receive a three question quiz or test at the end of each training.
