We discuss the informal daily communication to build positive relationships as well as formal meetings to discuss concerns about development.

Learning Outcomes:

1 . Learners will identify ways to maintain positive and appropriate communication with families.

2 . Learners will describe methods of communication to engage all families sensitively and in a culturally appropriate way.

3 . Learners will use strategies to incorporate into their classrooms to help improve communication.

Each professional development session offered by The Children’s Cabinet utilizes a knowledge check to ensure that our participants understand our training objectives and our instructors are providing a comprehensive learning experience.
