Child Care Provider Action Committee Meeting

We are convening a vital public meeting to unify our voices and sharpen our strategy as we look toward the Day Without Child Care (May 11) and coordinating our final promotion efforts for the upcoming April 9th webinar. We are excited to hear from Shannon Bilbray-Axelrod and Denise Tanata as we aim to transform technical data into high-impact advocacy in preparation for the 2027 legislative session. We will also include discussion for direct provider input to ensure the most pressing issues on your radar are integrated into our collective action plan. To make our message undeniable, we are calling for “stories from the field”—narrative letters detailing specific incidents that highlight systemic failures in Nevada or at the federal level to serve as the heartbeat of our legislative push and prove that child care reform is a community necessity. Please join us to share your experience, contribute your expertise, and help us bridge the gap between those working in the field and those in decision-making roles.
