Description: Participants will gain an understanding of how important it is to incorporate dual language material in the classroom. Participants will get a better understanding of the importance of engaging their families into their classroom. Participants will gain an understanding of how they can let them families participate more in the classroom.

Training Objectives:

1. Participants will gain knowledge of working with dual language learners
2. Participants will gain skills and ideas to use in their classroom to promote dual language learning.
3. Participants will gain skill to collaborate with their dual language learning families

Each professional development session offered by The Children’s Cabinet utilizes a knowledge check to ensure that our participants understand our training objectives and our instructors are providing a comprehensive learning experience. You can expect to receive a three question quiz or test at the end of each training.
