CKA: Human Growth & Development

Participants will learn what executive function is and what it looks like in children. They will explore different strategies to supporting executive function growth and walk away with techniques to enhance these skills through activities and games.

Training Objectives:

1 . Describe how executive function presents itself in school-aged children.

2 . Recognize how to support executive function in their teaching.

3 . Identify activities that increase executive function to implement into their classrooms.

Each professional development session offered by The Children’s Cabinet utilizes a knowledge check to ensure that our participants understand our training objectives and our instructors are providing a comprehensive learning experience. You can expect to receive a three question quiz or test at the end of each training.
