MITM training will provide opportunities for adults to examine child development research and themselves to create strategic actions they can take to promote executive function-based skills in children ages 0-8.

Training Objectives:

1 . Discuss and identify executive functions and how they develop in the brain.

2 . Discuss and identify the “7 Essential Life Skills”.

3 . Identify a framework for Skill-Building Strategies that can be used in ECE Environments.

Each professional development session offered by The Children’s Cabinet utilizes a knowledge check to ensure that our participants understand our training objectives and our instructors are providing a comprehensive learning experience. You can expect to receive a three question quiz or test at the end of each training. If you have questions or concerns, or need additional information about this process, feel free to contact the Professional Development Training Coordinator at 775-856-6200.
