Description: Positive relationships with children serve as the foundation for addressing social-emotional needs. This training will provide information and activities to help participants understand the importance of building relationships with children, families and colleagues as a first step in supporting children’s social emotional development and preventing challenging behavior.

1. Participants will understand the importance of building nurturing and responsive relationships.
2. Participant will understand how relationships impact children’s challenging behavior.
