It’s not uncommon for professionals who work with children to lose sight of the need for self-reflection and investing in their own wellbeing. Join us as we explore causes and symptoms of stress and effective stress management strategies. Based upon the Stress Reduction Workshop from Early Childhood Mental Health Consultation.
Training Objectives:
1 . By the end of this session, learners will understand stress and its sources.
2 . By the end of this session, learners will recognize our own role in stress creation and reduction.
3 . By the end of this session, learners will identify and practice techniques to lessen stress levels at work and at home.
Each professional development session offered by The Children’s Cabinet utilizes a knowledge check to ensure that our participants understand our training objectives and our instructors are providing a comprehensive learning experience. You can expect to receive a three question quiz or test at the end of each training. If you have questions or concerns, or need additional information about this process, feel free to contact the Professional Development Training Coordinator at 775-856-6200.
