Ever wonder what you are supposed to do as a teacher during free play for school aged children? During this session, participants will gain understanding of ways to support school aged children during free play that includes peer interaction, supervision and teacher’s roles.
Training Objectives:
1 . By the end of this session, the learner will Understand what free play is.
2 . By the end of this session, the learner will Identify the teachers role during free play and strategies to help in engaging with children.
3 . By the end of this session, the learner will Recognize opportunities for individualized teaching, peer interaction, supervision and providing physical warmth during free play.
Each professional development session offered by The Children’s Cabinet utilizes a knowledge check to ensure that our participants understand our training objectives and our instructors are providing a comprehensive learning experience.
