Is a large vocabulary essential among our children? Teachers often come across this fundamental question – and with a resounding YES as the answer, the teachers are constantly planning how to provide experiences that stimulate vocabulary building. We will engage in the WHAT, WHY, and the HOW of of vocabulary.

Training Objectives:

1.To define what vocabulary is and articulate its relationship to language and literacy

1. To look at the Language milestones of children ages 0-12 year old
2. To incorporate vocabulary building in the other learning domains
